Matt Bomer Hears Emmy Nomination News From Husband Simon Halls

Matt Bomer is suave in a plaid shirt while attending the 2014 Giffoni Film Festival photo call on Saturday (July 19) in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.

Later in the day, the 36-year-old actor will be honored with the coveted Giffoni Award at the film festival, which runs through Sunday, July 27.

Matt recently shared how he received the news of his Emmy nomination for his work on The Normal Heart.

“I’m in New York and was getting ready to go to work on White Collar. I got a phone call from my husband [Simon Halls] and he shared the news with me. It was so great to get to share that moment with him, because I had to separate myself from my family for a while to play this role. I’m sure when I was 130 pounds, I wasn’t always in the best mood, so it was nice to get to share a happy moment with him,” Matt shared to ABC News.
