Kristin Chenoweth Joins the Cast of 'American Gods'

Kristin Chenoweth is all smiles while making a surprise appearance at the American Gods panel during 2016 Comic-Con on Friday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The Emmy and Tony-winning performer was there to announce that she was joining the cast as Easter.

“I’m so excited to be reunited with my Bryan Fuller,” Kristin said after hugging everyone on stage. She previously worked with Bryan on Pushing Daisies.

Later Kristin took to her Instagram to share a video of the moment she jumped on stage to surprise the crowd.

“SURPRISE! So excited to join the cast of #AmericanGods as the goddess Easter! 🐰 @starz #SDCC #sdcc2016,” she wrote.
