Making a Murderer's Brendan Dassey's Prison Release Overturned

A federal court has blocked the release of Making a Murderer subject Brendan Dassey.

Brendan, now 27, had his conviction thrown out back in September and a judge just ordered his release. However, a new court ruling is saying that the prosecution should have an opportunity to appeal that his confession in the murder of Teresa Halbach was coerced, TMZ reports.

Brendan was 16 at the time of his arrest and conviction and he was convicted alongside his uncle, Steven Avery.
