John Cena Breaks Down in Tears After Surprise From Fans (Video)

John Cena was brought to tears after getting surprised by fans whose lives he has impacted with his message of “Never Give Up.”

The 40-year-old professional wrestler recently shot a Cricket Wireless commercial in which he reads thank you cards from some of the fans.

The fans have each gone through different life-altering experiences such as depression, adopting new family members, near-death accidents, cancer, and more.

John had no idea the letter writers were actually backstage watching him read them out loud.

When the fans finally emerged, John was overcome by emotion at their appreciation. They even presented him with a “Life Changer” trophy.

“Just remember that you guys do the work,” John says in the clip. “Don’t think that you’re the only one who’s up against it, and don’t think you’re the only one who [has] challenges to face every day. You all lead by example, and I mean it when I say it: Don’t ever give up.”
