Jake Gyllenhaal Confirms 'Spider-Man' Role in First Instagram Post (Video)

Jake Gyllenhaal finally confirmed what was reported months ago: he’s playing the villain Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home!

Mysterio is a famous Spider-Man villain who first appeared in the comics back in 1964 and has never before been portrayed on the screen in any Marvel movies.

Jake announced the news after joining Instagram! He posted a video as his very first post on the social media site.

Jake captioned the video, “I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man.”
