Connie Britton hits the stage at Senator Kirsten Gillibrand‘s kickoff rally on Sunday afternoon (March 24) in New York City.

The 52-year-old actress showed her support for her the senator – and her longtime friend – at the kickoff event Kirsten‘s presidential campaign.

During a recent interview, Connie revealed that she and Kirsten went to college together and dormed together when they were studying aboard in China.

“Go Kirsten go! I’m so proud of you,” Connie recently tweeted, endorsing Kirsten. “You’ve shown me for years how brave you are and now it will be a thrill to watch you run. You have my support.”
