The beloved 99-year-old Golden Girls actress turned 99 on Sunday (January 17), and the sweet messages are pouring in across social media including Twitter, where her name has been trending all day already.

“Betty White was born this day in 1922. Sliced bread was invented in 1928. Therefore, sliced bread is the greatest thing since Betty White,” another said.
