Simu Liu Reveals Which Marvel Star Gave Him The Best Advice For Joining The MCU

When it was revealed that Simu Liu would be starring in Marvel’s upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, there was one particular star that reached out to him with advice.

The 32-year-old opened up about his fellow Marvel star, saying that this actor “was just so great” at giving him advice for joining such a huge franchise.

Simu revealed in his recent interview that it was Loki star Tom Hiddleston that reached out to welcome to the MCU.

“I had a wonderful conversation with Tom Hiddleston the day that I was announced at Comic-Con,” Simu shared, adding that Tom was “just such a gentle human, the kind of perfect person to kind of just get your head straight.”

The advice Tom gave to Simu was that he had to “‘enjoy it, you’ve got to just accept the good with all the other stuff, and just accept the fact that if you go on vacation somewhere to a random island, that people are still gonna know where you’re from. That is how far-reaching and pervasive Marvel movies are.’”

Shang-Chi and the Legend Of The Ten Rings centers on martial-arts master Shang-Chi as he confronts the past he thought he left behind when he’s drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
