Ryan Phillippe Weighs In About Those Who Think Son Deacon Looks Like Him

There are many fans who think that Deacon Phillippe looks a lot like his dad, Ryan Phillippe – but Ryan doesn’t agree.

The 47-year-old former Big Sky star spoke to E! Online about the comments that come from fans about how much his children, Deacon and daughter Ava with Reese Witherspoon, look like them.

“Obviously, there is a father-son resemblance,” Ryan confirmed, but, he says that Deacon “actually looks a lot more like Reese’s side of the family. Ava looks more like mine.”

Ryan added that he and Reese think the same in terms of their children’s resemblances.

“Quite often, the interpretation in the media is that she looks exactly like her mom and he looks exactly like me, but I think we both feel differently about it,” he shared.

He does note Deacon‘s good looks, and he says that Deacon, 17, is “way better looking than I am.”

Ryan doesn’t say much about his two older children, explaining that he tries to “stay mindful of not embarrassing them too much in what I post.”
