Anderson Cooper Tests Positive for COVID-19, Will Sit Out From His CNN Show

Anderson Cooper is sitting out from his show.

The 54-year-old CNN star did not host his show on Monday night (April 11) after it was revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

Anderson made the announcement on his Instagram Story with a photo of himself in bed, captioning the post: “Just tested positive for COVID. Thankfully the kids are negative. Hope to get back to work soon.” (He has two sons: Wyatt Morgan, 1, and 8-week-old Sebastian Luke.)

Hohn Berman hosted Anderson Cooper 360 instead. He will host the show again Tuesday (April 12), TheWrap confirmed. Further guest hosts have not been revealed yet, and it’s not clear when he will return to the show.

We are wishing Anderson Cooper a speedy recovery.

Several other stars have also tested positive for COVID-19 in 2022.
