The outlet adds that the spinoff is titled Sam and Victor’s Day Off and comes from the Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald. Bill Posley is also set to write the film.

Sam and Victor’s Day Off will follow the same-day adventure of the valets who took the Ferrari on a joy ride from the 1986 movie.

In the original film, the valet attendants were not given official names but they were portrayed by Richard Edson and Larry “Flash” Jenkins, who died in 2019.

Just a few years ago, Matthew Broderick, who starred as Ferris, revealed he almost didn’t take the role.
