'Jeopardy!' Champ Amy Schneider Announces Marriage to Genevieve Davis!

Surprise! Amy Schneider is married!

On Tuesday (September 27), the 43-year-old record-breaking Jeopardy! champion announced that she and fiancee Genevieve Davis very quietly tied the knot back on May 9.

“A year ago today, I was in LA, waiting to fulfill a dream. The year since has been full of good days, but by far the best one was May 9th, when Genevieve and I got married,” Amy wrote on Twitter.

“Without her, none of the other good days would have happened,” Amy continued. “I’m so lucky to share my life with her!👰‍♀️❤️👰‍♀️”

Along with her announcement, Amy shared some sweet photos of she and Genevieve both wearing white wedding dresses and flower crowns from their big day.

On her Instagram, Amy revealed that she and Genevieve married in a “small private ceremony at the Alameda County Recorder.”

She also added, “We will still be having a traditional wedding & reception next summer, but our lives have been much too busy this year to get very far in planning it, and we couldn’t wait that long to proclaim our love and commitment to each other. Thank you, everyone for your support!”

Amy first announced that she and Genevieve got engaged back in February.

Amy will be competing in Jeopardy!‘s “Tournament of Champions” later this fall.
