Michelle Yeoh Shares Update on 'Crazy Rich Asians' Sequel

Michelle Yeoh is making a glamorous appearance at the 2022 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

The 60-year-old Everything Everywhere All at Once actress stunned in a white dress with a gold leaf necklace as she arrived at the event held on Friday evening (December 9) at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, Calif.

During the event, Michelle was honored with the 15th Annual Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence In Film.

In a recent interview, Michelle shared an update on the highly-anticipated sequel to Crazy Rich Asians, which was released back in 2018.

“We are still waiting on it,” Michelle told E! News about the sequel. “We know there’s a writer on it, so we’ll see. Fingers crossed.”

It was recently announced that Michelle will be playing Madame Morrible in the upcoming Wicked movies starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo! Find out who else will be starring in the movie musicals.
