Hallmark's Second 'Hannah Swensen Mystery' Movie With Alison Sweeney & Cameron Mathison Is Filming Now!

Alison Sweeney is back in the shoes of Hannah Swensen for Hallmark Channel!

The fan fave Hallmark actress is reuniting with Cameron Mathison, Barbara Niven and Gabriel Hogan for the second of the official Hannah Swensen mystery franchise.

The new collection of movies is an off-shoot of the first mystery series in which the characters appeared, Murder She Baked.

Titled Carrot Cake: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, the movie will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries later this year, ET reports.

Based on the books from Joanne Fluke, the upcoming flick will center on the discovery of a skeleton amid the rubble of a building undergoing renovation reveals that one of Lake Eden’s beloved citizens is not who he claimed to be.

Much to the dismay of her fiancé, Detective Mike Kingston (Mathison), crime-solving baker Hannah Swensen begins to investigate the case on her own.

As she tries to piece together the events that led to the murder and tries to learn the victim’s true identity, Hannah even calls on her mother Delores (Niven) as she works to bring the killer to justice and uncover the truth.
