Lisa Marie Presley's Ex Michael Lockwood Requests to Be Named Guardian of Their Daughters Amid Questions About Her Estate

There’s been a new development in the handling of Lisa Marie Presley‘s estate.

Michael Lockwood, the late star’s ex and father of her youngest children, is taking steps to be named their legal guardian so that he can advocate for them as her trust is discussed.

The former couple shared twin daughters Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron, 14.

According to court documents examined by ET, Michael requested to be named the girls’ guardian ad litem.

The documents note that the girls are minors and a “beneficiary of a trust at issue before the probate court in the above-referenced case.” Both girls signed off to let their father represent their interests.

Michael also pointed out that he doesn’t stand to benefit from the trust so he would be an impartial guardian without conflicts.

Lisa Marie‘s estate will be discussed in court on April 13. Her mother Priscilla Presley released a statement about the situation last month.
