John Stamos Reveals the Movie He Had to Film After His 2015 DUI, & He Doesn't Remember Shooting It

John Stamos opened up about being arrested for a DUI in 2015 and what he had to do the very next day.

The 60-year-old Full House star has been sober for eight years now. However, he was arrested in 2015 for driving while intoxicated. Shortly after that, he entered rehab to receive treatment for alcoholism.

However, while on The Howard Stern Show, he revealed that he had to film a movie the day after his arrest. John added that he does not even recall being on the set.

On the topic of his DUI, John told Howard Stern that he was not worried about his career in the aftermath.

“And that’s the problem. I went home after that. It was horrible, Howard. I could have killed somebody. it just makes me sick to my stomach. Seeing myself in handcuffs, that’s not the kid my parents raised. My parents were good, and I was disrespecting my childhood because it was beautiful,” he said. “I went home, and you know what I did? I drank another bottle of wine by myself.”

He continued, noting that he had to film for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 the very next day.

“I was just with Rita Wilson and Nia [Vardalos] in Greece, and I realized… I forgot that the next day they said, ‘Oh, you’ve got to go to Toronto, you’re in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘What?’ I don’t remember being on that set.”

He continued, noting that he was sent to rehab by his family “as soon as I came back from Toronto.”

In another interview, John said that the DUI was what led to his decision to get sober.
