Hoda Kotb Returns to 'Today' After Maternity Leave
Hoda Kotb is back at work after two months of maternity leave and she is gushing over her baby girl Haley Joy!
The 52-year-old morning show anchor adopted the baby girl with her partner Joel Schiffman.
Hoda said that she was a “mess” and nervous to be back on the air. “I’m scared to be sitting here. I’m a little afraid that I might explode into tears,” she said.
In a pre-taped segment, Hoda opened up about being a new mom.
“You think that by a certain stage in your life, I’ve had every experience I’m going to have,’and then all of a sudden she shows up,” she said. “I felt like, in my life, I’ve had joy beyond what I could imagine, but this is beyond like a dream. Like you have your dreams, and then this.”
“I’ve never believed at love at first sight until now,” Hoda added.
