Hidden Figures is nominated for three Academy Awards this weekend including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress for Octavia.

The women stepped out at the Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party on Friday night (February 23) at at Nightingale Plaza in Los Angeles.

They were also joined at the event by Angela Sarafyan, Nicola Peltz, Jenny Slate, Keegan-Michael Key and Alysia Reiner.

Other atendees included Kiersey Clemons, Zoe Kravitz, Michelle Dockery, Janet Montgomery, Gaby Hoffmann, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rowan Blanchard and Ellie Bamber.

The 2017 Best Actress nominee and the 2016 Best Actress winner stepped out at the event on Friday night (February 23) at at Nightingale Plaza in Los Angeles.

The duo were also joined at the event by nominees Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Viggo Mortensen and Ava DuVernay.

Other attendees included Annalise Basso, Anika Noni Rose and Freida Pinto.

During the event, Brie gave a touching speech about being an woman in Hollywood.

“Even though being an actor was really hard, it was even harder to learn to be a woman. And because I loved film so much, that’s where I turned to. That’s how I learned to be who I am today,” she explained.

Brie went on to make a request of fellow attendees saying, “So, let’s talk. Let’s not talk industry talk. Let’s actually talk about what’s really going on with us. What worries us. What scares us. What we’re excited about it. So let’s incubate all of this and make something amazing.”

Emma Roberts meets up with Lion actress Priyanka Bose while attending the Red Carpet Green Dress Pre-Oscar Celebration on Thursday (February 23) at a private residence in Los Angeles.

The ladies will both hit the red carpet at the Oscars in environmentally conscious gowns made by top designers in support of activist Suzy Amis Cameron‘s Red Carpet Green Dress campaign.

The designers of the gowns have not yet been announced, but the ladies will pair their looks with Atelier Swarovski‘s first fine jewelry collection.

RCGD’s mission is to start a dialogue, not just make it about who you are wearing, but why you are wearing it and what does it mean to you and to those around you.

Priyanka will appear on Amazon’s Style Code Live the day after the Oscars to reveal how to replicate her look!
