A list of the 217 actors featured in the Twin Peaks revival series airing on Showtime next year has been revealed!

The only previously confirmed star was the original series’ Kyle MacLachlan and now it has been revealed that original stars David Duchovny, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, Michael Horse, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton, Everett McGill and David Lynch will return.

Some of the notable names added to the lineup include Amanda Seyfried, Naomi Watts, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Laura Dern, Jane Levy, Jessica Szohr, and many more.

Principal photography on the series has ended and David Lynch is directing every single episode. You can catch it on Showtime in 2017.

David Duchovny proudly shows off his star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame during the ceremony held on Monday (January 25) in Hollywood.

The 55-year-old actor and Gillian Anderson, his The X-Files co-star, graced the cover of Variety‘s recent issue, where they dished on their current relationship.

Here’s what they said about working together:

“The crucible of doing that show made monsters out of both of us. Once we got to step back, it was like, ‘Oh, wow, we really like each other. I didn’t know that was going to happen. The way we work together has changed,” David said. “Whatever rapport we have as actors, we earned. It’s nice to be able to play that without ever even feeling like you’re playing it.”

“Our relationship has definitely become a proper friendship over the last few years. I think we’re more on each other’s side. We’re more aware of the other’s needs, wants, concerns, and mindful to take those into consideration�” and just sharing more about our experiences in the moment, under the sudden realization that we’re both in this together, and wouldn’t it be nice if it were a collaboration?” Gillian added. Gillian Anderson just revealed that when negotiations began for The X-Files revival, she was offered half the salary of her male co-star David Duchovny.

The 47-year-old actress told The Hollywood Reporter that despite closing the wage gap during the original series, she was once again offered less money than David for the revival.

Gillian opened up more about the topic with The Daily Beast saying she thinks it’s “important that [the issue] gets heard and voiced. It was shocking to me, given all the work that I had done in the past to get us to be paid fairly. I worked really hard toward that and finally got somewhere with it.”

Although she eventually took home the same amount as David she said, “It is…sad. It is sad.”

The X-Files co-stars were joined on stage their new castmate Joel McHale and show creator Chris Carter.

“We’re coming back to do really fresh, original material, not a victory lap – this is an opportunity to prove that the show has more life in it,” Chris said of the show’s revival.

He continued, “We’re living in a time where there’s a tremendous amount of distrust toward authority, the government, even the media. I’ve cherry-picked some of the things that are frightening to me and if even one of them comes true, it’ll be a very bad thing for America… It’s an interesting time to be shining lights into the darkness.”

The X-Files revival premieres on Sunday, January 24th at 10 P.M on Fox.

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reunite on the red carpet at Fox’s The X-Files premiere held at the California Science Center on Tuesday (January 12) in Los Angeles.

The pair were joined at the event by their co-stars Robbie Amell with fiancee Italia Ricci, Lauren Ambrose, and Joel McHale.

Earlier in the day, Gillian and David arrived for their appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where they took part in a funny sketch with host Jimmy. At the end of the sketch, Jimmy tells them to finally get intimate already, because everyone really wants it to happen!

The X-Files reboot just released a 21 minute behind the scenes look at the upcoming new episodes!

In the lengthy video, we get a look into the current lives of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson). The video also introduces Muldy and Scully’s son William.

“I can imagine what that must be like as a fan,” Gillian comments in the BTS video. “You see these familiar faces and the familiar crossbeams of light coming out of the darkness and hear that soundtrack.”

Look out for the six new episodes of the series, beginning January 24 on Fox!

David Duchovny visits the SiriusXM Studios at The X-Files panel during 2015 New York Comic-Con held at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Saturday (October 10) in New York City.

The 55-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Mitch Pileggi and Kumail Nanjiani.

During the panel, one of the show’s new episodes debuted!

“The dynamic of the characters was often unspoken. There would be dramatic moments where one would save the other or call them by their first name rather than their last, and that would have to satisfy some kind of longing,” David said during the panel. “But it’s still the same. I don’t think anyone wants to see Mulder and Scully bickering over a toothpaste tube or leaving the toilet seat up, the show is about the cases.”

The X-Files returns on January 24.
