Check out this haunting new poster for Jessica Chastain‘s upcoming film Crimson Peak!

The Oscar-nominated actress shared it with fans on Instagram.

“The horror was for love’ International poster for #CrimsonPeak #LadyLucilleSharpe,” she captioned it.

Here’s the synopsis: When her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay: a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever.

Between desire and darkness, between mystery and madness, lies the truth behind Crimson Peak.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, and Charlie Hunnam.

Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska hit the press line at the Legendary Pictures panel held during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The ladies were joined by their co-star Tom Hiddleston while promoting their film Crimson Peak. During the panel director Guillermo Del Toro revealed some details about the upcoming horror film.

“It’s a straight gothic romance, where certain twists are a little more gender liberating,” Guillermo said. He added that there’d be no twist at the end such as the haunted house being a spaceship or that the characters are actually in a TV show.

Mia, Jessica and Tom also took a seat on the panel mentioning that Guillermo gave them 10 pages of character detail that isn’t in the script, allowing them to enhance their character.

“I love her, she absolutely breaks my heart,” Jessica said of her character. “She’s fiercely loyal and acts out of love, to give and receive love.”

FYI: Jessica is wearing a Preen dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. Mia is wearing an Erdem dress and Brian Atwood shoes.

The film follows an aspiring author (Mia Wasikowska), who is torn between love for her childhood friend (Hiddleston) and the temptation of a mysterious outsider (Charlie Hunnam). Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.

Guillermo del Toro directed the film, which hits theaters on October 16.

Cate Blanchett looks chic as she hits the red carpet to co-host the 2015 AACTA Awards Ceremony held at The Star Event Centre on Thursday (January 29) in Sydney, Australia.

The 45-year-old Australian actress was joined by Rose Byrne, her boyfriend Bobby Cannavale, Mia Wasikowska, Sophie Lowe, and Geoffrey Rush.

Robert Pattinson leans down to lock lips with co-star Mia Wasikowska in this brand new look at their upcoming film Map to the Stars!

Also starring Julianne Moore and John Cusack, the movie follows the Weiss family, who are making their way in Hollywood rife with money, fame, envy, and relentless hauntings.

Stafford Weiss (Cusack) is a famed TV self-help therapist with an A-list celebrity clientele. Meanwhile, Cristina Weiss (Olivia Williams) has her work cut out managing the career of their disaffected child-star son, Benjie (Evan Bird), a fresh graduate of rehab at age 13.
