Jessica Chastain & Tom Hiddleston Take 'Crimson Peak' to Comic-Con!

Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska hit the press line at the Legendary Pictures panel held during 2015 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The ladies were joined by their co-star Tom Hiddleston while promoting their film Crimson Peak. During the panel director Guillermo Del Toro revealed some details about the upcoming horror film.

“It’s a straight gothic romance, where certain twists are a little more gender liberating,” Guillermo said. He added that there’d be no twist at the end such as the haunted house being a spaceship or that the characters are actually in a TV show.

Mia, Jessica and Tom also took a seat on the panel mentioning that Guillermo gave them 10 pages of character detail that isn’t in the script, allowing them to enhance their character.

“I love her, she absolutely breaks my heart,” Jessica said of her character. “She’s fiercely loyal and acts out of love, to give and receive love.”
