Kate Mara to 'Manhattan': 'Fantastic Four' Reboot Will Be Different From Anything I've Done! (Exclusive)

Kate Mara stuns on the cover of Manhattan magazine’s May 2014 issue, provided exclusively to JustJared.com.

Here’s what the 31-year-old Transcendence actress had to share with the mag:

On her sister Rooney Mara: “There’s something about having the girl closest to me in my life also experiencing the exact same job—I know how unique that is. I don’t take it for granted at all.”

On the end of her House of Cards role: “I had a lot of people who love the show say, ‘I knew it was going to happen, but I thought it would happen at the end of this season or at the end of another season—we were not ready for that’…and that’s very flattering.”

On her role in the Fantastic Four reboot: “The whole thing will be different than anything I’ve ever done…I really loved [director] Josh Trank’s take on it, and I’m a fan of his last film, Chronicle, which was like an anti-superhero movie—really dark, which is what I like. I like things that are rooted in reality and that are dark and not what you expect. And I think that that’s probably what Fantastic Four will be.”

FYI: Kate is wearing the Theodora Choker Necklace by AllSaints with the black dress.

So the shot with atrocious posture gets the cover? Eh? Should have gone with the one furthermost to the left of her leaning on the rail wearing black (IMHO).

Kate’s pretty but, everyone knows she gets her parts through family nepotism.

As for the Fantastic Four “reboot” movie….fail. No one wants a reboot. We all know the origin story thank you. Plus the cast sucks. All FF rights should revert to Marvel/Disney. They can make FF the right way.

This movie has bomb written all over it.

I forgot that she is Rooney Mara’s sister.
