James Franco Slams 'Homophobic' Rumors of His Relationship with Scott Haze

James Franco has taken to his Instagram account to slam a report that said he is dating his roommate and good friend Scott Haze.

“GAWKER – always getting the cutting edge, homophobic scoop!!! Go see CHILD OF GOD in theaters and see me direct my live-in boyfriend, SCOTT HAZE!!! Love you SCOTT!!!!” the 36-year-old actor captioned a screencap of the Gawker article.

In the article, the site referenced several lines from a New York Times piece about the pals in which it was revealed that they are roommates and are “so close that describing them merely as friends would be a disservice.”

James and Scott have collaborated together on several projects, including the new movie Child of God.
