Angelina Jolie Explains Why She Loves Being in Menopause

Angelina Jolie is opening up about going into early menopause and why she’s enjoying this stage of life.

The 40-year-old actress had her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed back in March, but she says the experience of going into menopause has not been a bad one.

“I actually love being in menopause,” Angelina told Australia’s Daily Telegraph. “I haven’t had a terrible reaction to it, so I’m very fortunate.”

“I feel older, and I feel settled being older,” she added. “I feel happy that I’ve grown up. I don’t want to be young again.”
