Kesha Cancels Concert Amid Dr. Luke Court Case Upset

Kesha has cancelled her concert at the Loyola University Chicago’s Colossus 2016 event, which is taking place this weekend in Chicago, Ill.

News of the cancellation comes as the 28-year-old was denied her freedom from her contract with Dr. Luke. Kesha has said that Dr. Luke, 42, sexually assaulted her and drugged her during their collaboration. Kesha released a lengthy public statement just yesterday about her ordeal.

“The Department of Programming ((dop)) has been notified that Kesha will no longer be able to perform at Loyola’s annual Colossus weekend due to personal reasons. Kesha has expressed her disappointment in having to cancel, but she feels that this is the best decision for her at this time. We respect her decision and wish her well,” the college wrote on Facebook.
