'Harry Potter' Movies Aren't Available To Stream Anywhere Right Now

Harry Potter has officially said goodbye to streaming.

After many years of marathons on cable television, before being available on HBO and then NBC properties, the film franchise is now not available on any streaming service.

What that means is that if you have an urge to watch the entire Harry Potter franchise, you’ll have to do it by popping a Blu-ray or DVD into your player, or buying them through a digital retailer for your tablet.

Or, you can also wait for another marathon on the Syfy or USA networks.

According to CinemaBlend, the reason the films keep disappearing from streaming services for a month or two at a time before returning again, is all because NBC Universal has the contract.

The details of the contract state that the Harry Potter movies must be run alongside the Fantastic Beasts.

So, while the flicks aren’t on Peacock right now, where they were, they will probably be back next year.
