Bobby Brown Breaks Silence After Tragic Loss of His 28-Year-Old Son

Bobby Brown is speaking out following the tragic death of his son Bobby Brown Jr., who passed away this week at the young age of 28.

The singer said in a statement, “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”

Brown‘s lawyer said (via Billboard), “Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well a couple days before his death, with flu-like symptoms. This is a tragic loss and we will be letting the authorities conduct their investigation of his death.”

Bobby Jr.‘s body was discovered on Wednesday afternoon (November 18) after the Los Angeles Police Department was called to the scene for an undisclosed medical emergency.

The death of Bobby Jr. comes five years after half-sister Bobbi Kristina Brown died in July 2015. The daughter of the late Whitney Houston drowned in a bathtub while under the influence of cocaine and alcohol. She was 22-years-old.
