Mariah Carey: 'X Factor' Mentor?

Mariah Carey heads into an apartment building on Wednesday (July 6) in New York City.

The 41-year-old entertainer, who gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe in April, might be mentoring contestants on The X Factor!

“Mariah and Simon [Cowell] are great friends, and now [that] she has had her babies, it’s very possible that she will be involved [in] some way in the later stages of the show,” a source told EW.

“She has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it’s something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon,” the show insider added.
