Alexander Skarsgard Loved Working With Lars Von Trier
Alexander Skarsgard grabs a bite to eat at one of his favorite spots, Gemma, on Wednesday (October 5) in NYC.
Earlier in the week, the 35-year-old actor premiered Melancholia with co-star Kirsten Dunst during the New York Film Festival.
Alexander recently shared that he once worked with the film’s director, Lars Von Trier, before on a Danish TV show.
“It was only one day, but I had a blast. I loved working with him even if it was only like five hours,” he told The Playlist about their past project.
“My dad [actor Stellan Skarsgard] makes his way into every single [Von Trier] project, even if it’s a really small part. He loves working with Lars and they have a very interesting relationship. And he was like, ‘If you ever get the opportunity, just do it, it’s the most amazing thing,’” he added.
