Nick Cannon: Autoimmune Disease Diagnosis

Nick Cannon has spoken out about his health problems and revealed that he has an autoimmune disease similar to lupus.

The 31-year-old entertainer was hospitalized for kidney failure in January and later hospitalized with blood clots in his lungs.

“I’m just trying to make sure I put my health first,” Nick told People – Nick stepped down from his post at a NY radio show last month to continue his recovery.

Although the issue is something he will live with for the rest of his life, he says “it’s all in order now”.

“I feel blessed to be alive,” Nick added. “If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know [what would have happened].”
