Avril Lavigne Covers 'Glamoholic' October 2013

Avril Lavigne looks super fierce on the cover of Glamoholic‘s October 2013 issue.

Here is what the 29-year-old singer had to share with the mag:

On her new album: “Having a self titled album was a big deal for me. I really tried to cover a wide range of topics lyrically on this album which is why there is everything from pop to rock, ballads, electronic, and stripped down musical. I tried to go deeper on this record and really express myself.”

On working with her husband Chad Kroeger: “Chad is extremely talented and it was amazing to work side by side with someone you love. He really puts so much into everything he does and ‘Let Me Go’ is no exception. There wasn’t really one point when we realized it wasn’t just a work relationship anymore. We just kind of started to show feelings for each other and that was really it. There was no turning back for either of us.”

On the inspiration behind ‘Let Me Go’: “This song started out as each of us saying goodbye to our pasts, it was ‘Let It Go’… but then we ended up changing the chorus to ‘Let Me Go’ because it just evolved that way.”

On her upcoming tour: “I just announced my China, Japan and south east Asia dates in February and March 2014. I am really looking forward to this tour.”
