Julianne Moore on 'Still Alice': 'I Didn't Want To Do Anything In The Movie I Didn't See In Real Life'

The 54-year-old actress then sat down with moderator Patrick Harrison to chat about the flick, which is now playing in select theaters.

Julianne recently opened up about how she wanted her character to be portrayed.

“I didn’t want to do anything in the movie I didn’t see in real life,” Julianne expressed (via LA Times). “I didn’t want it to be this general thing, where you just give this mannered performance of someone who has a disease. People think personalities get obliterated with Alzheimer’s. And I found people’s personalities come through loud and clear.”
