Anna Kendrick Recalls The Time Chris Pine Almost Killed Her On 'Into The Woods'

Anna Kendrick stops to take some photos with some fans after arriving for her appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in New York City on Wednesday night (December 17).

The 29-year-old actress chatted about her new movie, Into The Woods with the host before heading to the Apple Store in Soho for a Meet The Actor session.

During the segment, Anna opened up about how Chris Pine making her laugh almost killed her!

“[Wearing a corset is] like being temporarily asthmatic. The simplest things become significantly more difficult. And there was a day�”do you know that thing when you’re a little kid and someone’s tickling you and it’s really fun and suddenly you’re screaming for mercy? There was a day that Chris Pine�”and Chris Pine is so funny in this movie�”and he was making me laugh on set, and it was going well, and I was thinking, ‘Oh look at this! It’s like behind the scenes, and the actors are having fun, getting to know each other! Oh, that Chris Pine!’ and suddenly I was screaming that I was dying! And I was like clawing at the corset to get out of it,” Anna explained.

She added, “And they let you out and it takes a minute and then I was disheveled but not dying, and apparently saying ‘Oh, Chris was doing this really funny Southern accent’ is not, like, an acceptable excuse for holding up the shoot.”
