Grammys 2015 Ratings Down Slightly From Last Year's Show

The 2015 Grammys aired live last night on CBS and ratings dropped slightly from last year’s broadcast.

This year’s show, which featured performances by Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye West, and more, brought in 26.2 million viewers, which is considered comparable with the 29.7 million viewers from last year’s telecast, THR reports.

The 2014 show had a 9.9 rating among adults 18-49, and early demos are giving this year’s show an 8.8 rating.

There was a lot of competition in both this year and last year’s telecast – last year the Grammys competed with the NFL Pro Bowl, and this year the highest rated show returned, The Walking Dead.
