Rooney Mara Reveals 'Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' Sequel Is Not Happening

The 29-year-old actress recently revealed that the much-wanted Girl With the Dragon Tattoo sequel won’t be happening anytime soon.

“I don’t think it’s going to happen,” Rooney told E! during an Oxfam benefit in New York City. “I’m sad never to do it again, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards.”
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was released four years ago and co-starred Daniel Craig and Robin Wright – Rooney was nominated for Best Actress at the 2011 Oscars for her role as Lisbeth Salander.
