Former NFL Player Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of First Degree Murder
UPDATE: Aaron Hernandez has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Aaron Hernandez, a former football player for the New England Patriots, has been found guilty of first degree murder of Odin Lloyd, the boyfriend of his fiancĂ©e’s sister.
The trial spanned two months and saw 135 witnesses. Aaron, 25, was also found guilty of illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
Aaron had a $40 million contract with the Patriots when he was arrested in June of 2013 for the murder of Odin, a semi-pro football player.
According to CBS News, Aaron appeared to be mouthing “you’re wrong” when the verdict was read. He is facing life in prison without parole.
