Cara Delevingne Covers 'Vogue': 'I Feel This Desire To Throw Away The Story I've Been Telling For Years'
Cara Delevingne shines bright on the cover of Vogue magazine’s July 2015 issue, hitting newsstands on Tuesday (June 23)!
Here’s what the 22-year-old model-turned-actress had to share with the mag:
On wanting to change things up: “I feel this desire to throw away the story I’ve been telling for years. Cheers”to a new story!”
On her early modeling days: “My agents told me what to do, and I did it. When I got in trouble, they told me off. It was a machine that I wasn’t controlling. It was like the disgusting way I felt inside was transposing itself on my skin. Somebody should have said stop.”
On leaving modeling for acting: “I admit I was terrified to leave. I mean, the bubble gives you a kind of dysfunctional family. When you’re in it, you get it. And the second you’re out of it, you’re like, What the hell just happened? The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modeling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera.”
