Natalie Portman Supports Hubby Benjamin Millepied at Paris Ballet's Opening Gala!

Natalie Portman steps out with her husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, at the Ballet National de Paris Opening Season Gala on Thursday (September 24) at Opera Garnier in Paris, France.

“The audience still feels too elitist to me in some of these houses,” Benjamin told WWD. “People are afraid of coming to this theater. My vision essentially is to widen the audience, make ballet interesting to people that normally wouldn’t be interested in it – younger and more diverse also. Ballet should reflect our society and in order to make the audience more diverse, the company also has to be more diverse. So yes, that’s something I would love to achieve here, and globally.”

Other celebs in attendance at the gala included The Artist‘s Berenice Bejo with her partner, director Michel Hazanavicius.
