NBC Shares First Video Promo for 'The Wiz Live!' Cast - Watch Now!

NBC just debuted the very first promo for the upcoming The Wiz live, which is set to air in a three-hour live event on Thursday, December 3.

The cast includes David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion, Shanice Williams as Dorothy, Ne-Yo as the Tin Man, and Elijah Kelley as the Scarecrow, along with Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Mary J. Blige as Evillene, Uzo Aduba as Glinda, Amber Riley as Addaperle, Common as Bouncer, and Broadway’s original Dorothy, Stephanie Mills, as Auntie Em.

If you didn’t know, The Wiz is a re-telling of the classic musical The Wizard of Oz.
