Alan Rickman's Last 2 Movies Will Be Released This Year

Alan Rickman sadly passed away on Thursday (January 14) after battling cancer, and fans have been left devastated.

The 69-year-old actor kept quite busy in the years leading up to his sudden death, and it may be bittersweet for fans to see his final two films, both of which will hit theaters before the summer.

The first film that will be released is titled Eye in the Sky, which also stars Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, and Barkhad Abdi.

The film is about a military officer who is in command of a drone operation to capture terrorists in Kenya. She sees her mission escalate from “capture” to “kill” just as a nine-year old girl enters the kill zone. It will hit theaters on March 11, 2016.

Alan‘s last film to be released will be Alice Through the Looking Glass, which will be released on May 27, 2016. The film will follow Alice as she travels back to Wonderland to save the Mad Hatter. Alan will be reprising his role as the Blue Caterpillar.
