Who is Luke Aikins? 'Heaven Sent' Jumper Will Sky-Dive with No Parachute!

Luke Aikins will be performing a daredevil stunt live on Fox tonight during his Heaven Sent program.

The 42-year-old sky-diver will be jumping out of a plane with no parachute with hopes of landing directly into a net 25,000 feet below him.

Ever since his first tandem jump at age 12 and then his first solo leap at age 16, he has been doing about 800 jumps every year!

“If I wasn’t nervous I would be stupid,” Luke told a Fox affiliate. “We’re talking about jumping without a parachute, and I take that very seriously. It’s not a joke.”

Luke will be landing in a net that is erected 20 stories high using two huge cranes. The net is about one-third the size of a football field.
