Emily Blunt Was 'Completely Sucked Into' Script of 'Girl on the Train'

Emily Blunt stares out a train window in this Entertainment Weekly preview of her upcoming movie The Girl on the Train.

“I read it, and I loved it,” Emily said of the script, which was adapted from the popular book of the same name. “I was completely sucked into it and thrilled by the idea that your protagonist was a blackout drunk. That’s very unusual. Especially in cinema, to have a woman who’s just so messed up at the forefront of the film.”

The Girl on the Train hits theaters on October 7, 2016. Luke Evans, Justin Theroux, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, and more star.
