Republicans Turn on Donald Trump, Ask Him to Step Down
Many influential Republicans are withdrawing their support for Donald Trump amid all of his past lewd comments that are surfacing this weekend.
Senator John McCain, who was the Republican presidential candidate back in 2008, has announced that he will no longer be voting for Trump. He also will not be supporting Hillary Clinton.
Two of this year’s Republican hopefuls, John Kasich and Carly Fiorina, have both released statements condemning Trump‘s actions and withdrawing their support for him.
Many of the Republicans withdrawing their support are hoping that Trump will step down and let his VP choice, Mike Pence, take his place on the ballot.
