Meryl Streep Breaks Own Oscar Nomination Record with 20 To Her Name!

Meryl Streep just extended her own record of most Oscar nominations by a performer with a whopping twenty to her name!

The 67-year-old actress – who earned her 20th nomination today for her work in Florence Foster Jenkins – has held the record for years now. The next highest number of nominations for a performer is 12 – which is held by Katharine Hepburn and Jack Nicholson.

Meryl will be going up against Emma Stone (La La Land), Natalie Portman (Jackie), Ruth Negga (Loving) and Isabelle Huppert (Elle) at the ceremony next month.
