Celebrities Praise Halsey's Moving Women's March 2018 Speech
Halsey took the stage at the 2018 Women’s March on Saturday (January 20) in New York City.
The poem describes Halsey‘s terrifying experiences with sexual assault in her past.
“He’s taken to forcing me down on my knees / And I’m confused ’cause he’s hurting me while he says please / And he’s only a man, and these things he just needs / He’s my boyfriend, so why am I filled with unease?” Halsey read in her speech.
Celebrities have been taking to Twitter to praise Halsey for her bravery and her powerful words.
