BLACKPINK Break Record for Most Viewed Korean Music Video in 24 Hours!
BLACKPINK are back in our area – and they’re breaking some massive records upon their return!
The South Korean girl group officially broke the YouTube record for most-viewed Korean music video in 24 hours with “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” notching over 36.2 million views in the first 24 hours according to a Billboard report on Thursday (July 5).

The music video also notched the most first-day views for any music video in 2018!
Plus, it’s now the second most-viewed music video ever in the first 24 hours according to the report, bested only by Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do,” which garnered 43.2 million views in that same 24-hour time period. Huge!
The song itself also debuted at No. 55 on the Hot 100, marking the highest debut for a female Korean act. Watch the video below!
