Amy Adams Says She Annoyed Whitney Houston When She Worked at the Gap

Amy Adams once worked at the Gap and she says she totally annoyed Whitney Houston when the superstar came in the store to shop once.

The 44-year-old actress opened up about the experience during an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday (January 9) in Los Angeles.

Amy was a star employee at the Atlanta area store and followed the “Gap act” to the tee.

“I just did everything I was supposed to do, even if I didn’t want to,” Amy said. “And I was like, gotta ‘Gap act’ her… ‘Welcome to the Gap. Is there anything I can help you with? Let me tell you about our T-shirts that are on sale.’”

“She went back into the dressing room and requested anybody else,” she added. “It’s true, it’s true. Anybody else, which made me laugh, because I agreed that I was annoying, but I couldn’t stop doing my job.”
