Kevin McHale's Just Jared Playlist - Listen Now! (Exclusive)

Kevin McHale is ready to supply the soundtrack for your next party or singalong session in the car – and provide you with some hot new song recommendations, too.

The 30-year-old Glee alum and musician teamed up with Just Jared to curate a special playlist for our readers.

The collection includes selections from acts like Ariana Grande, Rosalia, Khalid and many more – including Kevin himself with his new single “Help Me Now,” featured on his upcoming debut EP Boy, out on May 24 via innovative content platform Vydia.

“I think it reflects my personality because it’s super self-deprecating and honest and doesn’t take itself too seriously,” he says of the new song.

“For me it was vital to be super honest in the songwriting and because I made these songs with my best friends, it felt like just having a normal conversation we’d have put to music, there was no holding back,” he adds of the upcoming EP.

Listen to Kevin‘s playlist!

Check out what Kevin had to say about each of the playlist tracks inside…

1. Kevin McHale – “Help Me Now” – “IT’S ME! TURN IT UP! GET WILD!”
2. Ciara – “Thinkin Bout You” – “This song just feels so good and makes me wanna dance and I just need more Ciara.”
3. Rosalia, El Guincho & J Balvin – “Con Altura” “I love Rosalia so much. Her song “Malamente” is incredible, her videos, her collab with James Blake…she’s special and going to take over the world.”
4. Billie Eilish – “Bad Guy” – “Obviously Billie Eilish is a freak of nature and for good reason. She and her bro (who was on Glee) are musical geniuses.”
5. Jessie Reyez – “Imported (feat. JRM)” – “Naya Rivera told me about Jessie Reyez years ago and I’ve been obsessed with her ever since. She and I listened to this song at least 20 times one night and drank lots of martinis.”
6. Janelle Monae – “Screwed (feat. Zoe Kravitz)” – “One of my favorite albums of the last year and the sarcasm in this song is aspirational songwriting. It’s also one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.”
7. Khalid – “Self” – “When you turn this on loud, it feels goooooood.”
8. Ariana Grande – “fake smile” – “I feel like this is Ariana doing Lily Allen and I need more if it. She’s best when she’s candid.”
9. The 1975 – “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” – “This is the album of the year. The album is perfect. Start to finish. This song is fun af.”
10. The Chainsmokers & Winona Oak – “Hope” – “Winona Oak’s voice and style and face. That’s all.”
11. Lucky Daye – “Roll Some Mo” – “Mannn oh mannn, his voice.”
12. Destiny’s Child – “Nasty Girl” – “If you don’t like this song, I don’t like you.”
13. Sigrid – “Level Up” – “Sigrid is just the one. I don’t know how to pick just one song from her album, but this one is lovely. Also, her videos are so good.”
14. Ben Khan – “Youth” – “I wish this song was massive. It’s masterful and I think it’s perfect.”
15. Maren Morris – “Common (feat. Brandi Carlile)” – “This is basically my current view of the world and hearing them sing this makes me feel hopeful even though the world’s on fire.”
