Lupita Nyong'o Gets Colorful With Rainbow Shoulders at Met Gala 2019

Lupita Nyong’o showed her wild side while stepping out at the 2019 Met Gala.

The 36-year-old actress got colorful on the pink carpet at the event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

Lupita‘s gown featured sequined pink stars throughout and huge rainbow tulle shoulders.

She accessorized the look with a matching fan and combs in her hair.

“It’s very collaborative. Lupita was invited by a designer to be dressed by them and sit at their respective table. Her look is being custom-made head to toe. We looked at somewhere between 10 and 20 sketches, and ultimately, we settled on one…When we decided on this sketch, she was very involved,” Lupita‘s stylist Micaela Erlanger told Footwear News.
