'Accepted' Television Series Based on College Admissions Scandal in the Works

A television series based on the ongoing college admissions scandal is officially in the works.

The ongoing scandal, in which Lori Loughlin (who pled not guilty) and Felicity Huffman (who pled guilty) are among those indicted, has led to a limited TV series called Accepted, based on an upcoming book by Melissa Korn and Jen Levitz according to Deadline on Tuesday (May 7).

The book details “the recent college admissions scandal that exposed a criminal conspiracy to influence undergraduate admission decisions at several prominent American universities including USC and UCLA.”

Lori and husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of allegedly paying $500,000 as a bribe to the University of Southern California crew coach to secure their daughters admission to the school.

Felicity admitted her guilt in a recent statement.
